The eggbutt bar is a mouthpiece with universal use, it sits very quietly in the horse"s mouth and the eggbutt sides effectively prevent lip pinching. The Pelham"- a classic bit, now in our more elegant and enhanced design. When the reins are applied, the bit acts on the mouth, lower jaw and poll. Depending on lever length of the shanks (5 cm or 7.5 cm), a different strength and direct bit angulation in the mouth is achievable. Used on horses that have difficulties coming through at the poll, "hot" horses, or on horses that need significant input in critical situations (such as jump offs or similar).

The innovative design of the mouthpiece also ensures a better acceptance of the bit and facilitates communication between horse and rider. The beris mouthpieces are made of a food safe plastic compound, processed and with a surface finish unequalled so far in the field of plastic bits. Their surface is very smooth and they slide easily in the mouth, even if the horse doesn´t produce much saliva. Practically all horses like our mouthpieces.
